This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
β’ Process vendor invoices and payment distributions, ensuring verification of purchase orders, vendor details, taxes, discounts, and coding.
β’ Review subcontractor invoices against purchase orders and contracts, confirming costs, retainage, and payment terms.
β’ Oversee the complete lien waiver and lien release process, which includes requesting, tracking, reviewing, and gathering necessary documentation.
β’ Act as the main point of contact for lien waiver management.
β’ Follow up with vendors to resolve documentation issues, ensuring prompt payment processing.
β’ Reconcile vendor statements, investigating outstanding balances, missing invoices, payment discrepancies, and account-related issues.
β’ Research and address complex payment delays by tracing invoices, approvals, purchase orders, and supporting documentation.
β’ Collaborate with Project Managers, Purchasing, and Accounting teams to resolve discrepancies and maintain precise financial records.
β’ Utilize document management and workflow systems to route invoices and supporting documents for review and approval.
β’ Assist in AP automation and process enhancement initiatives.
β’ A minimum of 2 years of senior or lead-level accounts payable experience.
β’ At least 2 years of substantial experience in a construction-specific accounts payable setting.
β’ Over 2 years of experience dealing with lien waivers.
β’ More than 2 years of intermediate-level proficiency in Excel.
β’ Familiarity with construction-oriented systems.
β’ Previous lead-level experience providing direct oversight of accounts payable processes and resolving complex issues.
β’ Capability to work autonomously and cooperate within a fast-paced team environment.
β’ Strong communication skills for collaborating with project, purchasing, and accounting teams, as well as engaging with vendors and subcontractors.
β’ Eagerness to support and embrace AP automation and process improvement initiatives.
β’ Willingness to learn, develop, and tackle new challenges.
β’ Ability to work within a standard 40-hour week, primarily on Central Time.
