Senior Accountant – Financial Controller

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Oversee accounting and financial reporting for entities in the UK.

• Prepare and assess statutory financial statements and reports.

• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.

• Coordinate external audits and supply necessary documentation.

• Aid in US GAAP reporting and fulfill corporate accounting obligations.

• Collaborate with tax teams to ensure UK tax compliance.

• Supervise and work alongside shared-service accounting teams.

• Identify and address accounting and reporting challenges.

• Utilize software such as HFM and BlackLine.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of pertinent experience in accounting or financial control.

• Proven experience supporting UK legal entities within a multinational setting.

• Strong understanding of statutory reporting and audit procedures.

• Familiarity with US GAAP.

• Preferred experience with HFM and/or BlackLine.

• Knowledge of tax compliance and shared-service accounting frameworks.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.

• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

• Proficiency in the Polish language is required.

• Must reside in Poland.

• Capability to work during UK/European core business hours.
