Senior Controller, FP&A

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Austria.

📋 Description

• Design, enhance, and consistently refine independent reporting for the Pimcore Group.

• Assume responsibility for the monthly assessment of actuals versus budget.

• Evaluate variances and formulate specific action-oriented recommendations.

• Oversee, sustain, and further advance the group-level budget and forecasting model.

• Collaborate closely with the accounting team on postings, accruals, and month-end closing activities.

• Participate in pricing analyses, sensitivity analyses, and business case modeling to aid strategic decision-making.

• Prepare analyses and financial insights that are ready for decision-making for the VP Finance, management, and other stakeholders.

• Professionalize and automate finance processes, tools, and ensure data quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4–6 years of professional experience in controlling or FP&A, ideally within a software, SaaS, or technology firm.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles under Austrian UGB standards.

• Proven experience in establishing or significantly enhancing reporting structures and financial models.

• Exceptional Excel skills, especially in developing complex financial models and dynamic reports.

• Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably Odoo.

• Experience with AI-supported reporting processes is a plus.

• Analytical, organized, and proactive approach to tasks.

• Outstanding communication skills in both German and English, at a professional and business-fluent level.

• Completed degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or a related field.
