This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Execute accounting, analysis, and reporting tasks to facilitate the prompt and precise preparation of financial statements and associated deliverables.
• Carry out responsibilities as part of the monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes, which include crafting journal entries, reconciling accounts, managing accruals, allocations, reclassifications, and other accounting adjustments.
• Compile and assess balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules for fixed assets, prepaid expenses, and other designated accounting areas, ensuring timely resolution of reconciling items while adhering to company policies.
• Conduct variance analyses related to system reconciliations, intercompany discrepancies, and ad hoc requests, providing prompt support and explanations to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with offshore team members to ensure the accurate and timely execution of assigned tasks.
• Facilitate automation and process enhancement opportunities within BlackLine to improve the closing process and operational efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to SOX requirements, internal controls, accounting policies, and U.S. GAAP standards.
• Assist with internal and external audit inquiries, tax reporting obligations, and the preparation of supporting schedules and documentation.
• Foster strong working relationships with business unit finance teams and other stakeholders while contributing to cross-functional initiatives and special projects as necessary.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2-5 years of experience in Shared Service or Corporate Accounting and/or experience with a Big 4 CPA firm.
• Proficiency in SAP S4 HANA.
• Familiarity with HFM.
• Experience with BlackLine.
• CPA certification is a plus.
• Background in a Shared Services environment.
• Experience working in a SOX-controlled setting.
• Experience conducting internal and external audits.
• Proficient in flux analysis and SEC reporting.
• Experience in fixed asset accounting activities.
• Background in the music industry is an advantage.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize projects while working under pressure to meet deadlines.
