This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Close the monthly financial records promptly and accurately in compliance with GAAP.

• Prepare journal entries, execute balance sheet reconciliations, and perform P&L analyses.

• Examine results from one period to the next and offer insights on variances.

• Automate and enhance inefficient manual processes.

• Aid in the upkeep and implementation of internal controls.

• Support external auditors by providing necessary information for the year-end financial statement audit.

• Collaborate with colleagues in Accounts Payable, Treasury, Tax, and FP&A.

• Assist with essential accounting tasks during the monthly closing process and ensure the accuracy of financial data.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of relevant experience as an accounting professional.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.

• Experience in public accounting.

• Comprehensive understanding of GAAP.

• Experience with large-scale ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Workday).

• Proficient in advanced Excel skills.

• Strong capability to comprehend accounting systems and extract and reconcile data effectively.

• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• Competent in collaborating effectively within a remote team.
