Senior Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Manage the daily operations of accounts payable.

• Review and authorize Expensify reports.

• Engage in month-end closing activities, which include customer invoicing, revenue recognition, prepaids, and accruals.

• Reconcile accounts in the balance sheet and income statement.

• Oversee subsidiary accounting functions.

• Contribute to the annual financial audit and corporate tax submission.

• Maintain ERP systems effectively.

• Address ad hoc projects as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance or Accounting.

• CPA certification is mandatory.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting.

• Experience in both an audit firm and a technology organization.

• Proficient in using NetSuite.

• Familiar with Expensify or comparable platforms.

• Strong organizational abilities and capacity to work under pressure.

• High standards of work ethics.
