Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.

📋 Description

• Timely and accurately prepare entries for asset, liability, and capital accounts for designated companies and general ledger accounts.

• Resolve financial discrepancies by gathering and analyzing account data.

• Compile financial status by collecting data, generating financial statements, and other reports, ensuring compliance with monthly, quarterly, and year-end deadlines.

• Generate federal, state, and local reports, including monthly and annual sales tax returns.

• Safeguard financial security by adhering to internal control measures.

• Execute additional general ledger tasks as assigned.

• Reconcile balances for assigned asset and liability accounts.

• Detect and evaluate significant variations in asset and liability account balances to guarantee the accuracy of financial records.

• Suggest financial actions by examining accounting alternatives.

• Conduct monthly reconciliations, including bank reconciliations.

• Prepare annual audit schedules for external auditors.

• Support accounting projects, encompassing expense allocations, leased property, and reporting tasks.

• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.

• Bachelor's Degree in a finance-related field.
