This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Examine and assess all elements of the financial systems utilized by Money Laundering Organizations (MLOs), Drug Trafficking Organizations (DTOs), and Transnational Criminal Organizations (TCOs).

• Investigate the flow of illicit funds and the professional money laundering frameworks that enable these transactions.

• Engage in strategic planning meetings with financial investigative teams and task forces.

• Support the execution of interviews during financial investigations.

• Evaluate financial transactions to accurately identify all individuals involved in criminal activities.

• Review and audit intricate financial and business documentation to bolster Federal investigations and prosecutions.


⛳️ Requirements

• Must be capable of OBTAINING and MAINTAINING a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must secure approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to joining Guidehouse.

• Preference will be given to candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY.

• A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field is required.

• At least THREE (3) years of specialized experience in forensic accounting is necessary.

• Strong understanding of procedures and techniques as typically outlined by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) standards.

• Ability to independently resolve problems by adhering to accounting practices and experience in assessing controls related to complex business operations.

• Experience in analyzing financial and business records to aid federal investigations and prosecutions utilizing criminal investigative tools and other client-specific databases.

• Proficient knowledge of Title 18, Title 31, and other relevant statutes of the Federal Criminal Code, as well as the seizure and forfeiture of unlawfully obtained property.

• Capability to perform research and analysis using open-source information, national and international databases, and corporate filing records.

• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time is required.
