Senior Accountant, AP/AR, Cash

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage accounts payable, which includes processing bills, conducting weekly payment runs, reconciling AP, and addressing aged or negative items.

• Oversee cash and cryptocurrency reconciliations for all banks and wallets, the Bill.com clearing account, restricted cash, as well as wire and stablecoin receipts.

• Handle accounts receivable responsibilities, such as invoicing, reconciling AR, preparing customer statements, and monitoring DSO.

• Execute the purchase order process by matching purchase orders to bills in Bill.com, holding bills exceeding the PO threshold, and tracking open POs and committed spend.

• Conduct collections activities, including follow-up, escalation to account owners, and setting reserves for balances outstanding over 60 days.

• Reconcile company credit cards and review transaction coding for accuracy.

• Reconcile cryptocurrency accounts utilizing Treasury statements.

• Manage audit requests related to AP, AR, cash, and crypto.

• Supervise the AP processor and safeguard vendor master data.

⛳️ Requirements

• CPA or currently on the CPA track.

• 4–8 years of experience in both public accounting and industry roles.

• Proven experience managing subledgers and reconciliations within NetSuite.

• Collections experience with a direct and professional communication style when interacting with customers.

• Familiarity with Bill.com.

• Exposure to multi-entity operations.

• Knowledge of crypto or stablecoin accounting is a plus.

• Experience in the payments or fintech industry is advantageous.

• Proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese is a bonus.
