Senior Account Manager – Refinery Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Propel growth for DMDS, DMS, and Carelflex® sulfiding chemicals along with catalyst activation services throughout the U.S. and Canada.

• Take ownership of sales forecasting, project scope definition, commercial proposals, negotiations, purchase orders, and execution support.

• Oversee various high-value opportunities in petrochemicals, renewable diesel, and oil refining sectors.

• Develop and implement sales call strategies while maintaining a robust and predictable sales pipeline.

• Utilize Salesforce for forecasting, opportunity analysis, and engaging with customers.

• Direct pricing strategies and negotiate significant deals with refinery and petrochemical clients.

• Deliver unique solutions, finalize agreements, and nurture customer relationships through to delivery.

• Collaborate with internal teams to guarantee seamless project execution and enhance customer satisfaction.

• Travel to customer locations 40–60% of the time to foster relationships and identify new opportunities.

• Gather customer insights to influence future service offerings and support business expansion.

• Represent the company at industry events and trade exhibitions.

• Provide branding and messaging suggestions to enhance marketplace visibility.

• Ensure timely reporting in Salesforce and prepare monthly activity summaries.

• Share market intelligence, insights, and successes with global teams.

• Participate in internal business reviews, strategy meetings, and collaborative efforts with peers.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or a related technical discipline.

• Demonstrated experience in sales and commercial negotiations within refinery or petrochemical markets.

• Proficient in Salesforce or other CRM systems, Excel, PowerBI, and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation capabilities.

• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while maintaining a strong focus on customer needs.

• Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple projects at once.

• Proven presentation skills and cultural sensitivity.

• Willingness to frequently travel to customer locations.
