
Senior Account Manager, Group Benefits

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the organization's most critical and intricate client relationships within the Group Benefits sector.
• Act as the primary liaison for designated key employer group clients regarding issue resolution, reporting requests, and renewal preparations.
• Foster and sustain relationships with client contacts and broker associates.
• Proactively communicate about account status, policy updates, and renewal schedules.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external Third Party Administrator partners to enhance client interactions and service delivery.
• Work alongside Underwriting and TPAs on policy modification requests and client renewal packages.
• Monitor account performance and pinpoint opportunities for account growth or enhancements in administrative processes.
• Prepare and disseminate client reports.
• Develop stewardship presentations that illustrate account progress, objectives, and quarterly initiatives.
• Maintain precise account records and documentation within Salesforce.
• Elevate complex client issues necessitating coordination across departments and partners.
• Identify recurring client challenges and trends to foster ongoing service improvements.
• Provide training and support to Account Managers as necessary.
• A Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, sales, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Over 5 years of relevant experience in insurance, benefits administration, or client services, including exposure to employee benefits or B2B account management.
• Comprehensive knowledge of group insurance products and administrative concepts.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a professional, client-facing demeanor.
• Strong organizational and time management skills; capable of handling multiple tasks and deadlines concurrently.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy, especially in data management and client documentation.
• Ability to work independently while also mentoring and guiding junior team members.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with Salesforce is strongly preferred.
