This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and nurture enduring relationships with prospective clients, particularly targeting German-speaking customers.
• Assess and customize solutions to meet individual client needs, ensuring prompt responses and recommending best practices.
• Facilitate in-person and virtual demonstration sessions for both prospects and clients.
• Negotiate terms and conditions of tenders and contracts.
• Lead and successfully execute Proofs of Concept for large organizations.
• Oversee interactions with stakeholders and provide training and consulting support.
• Represent the team at conferences, establishing connections with clients and partners.
• Present OpenProject, deliver presentations, and engage in podcasts or interviews.
• Collaborate with partners to provide solutions for new clientele.
• Engage in hands-on work while maintaining a systemic perspective on the broader business context.
• Communicate effectively and proactively in a remote-first setting.
• Work collaboratively across functions with Sales, Customer Support, Product, Engineering, and Marketing.
• Native-level fluency in German.
• Proficiency in English, the business language.
• Knowledge of French or Spanish is advantageous, but not mandatory.
• Demonstrated experience in sales or customer success, with a proven history of achieving significant outcomes.
• Strong communication and active listening skills, including the ability to present and influence at executive and C-level.
• Solid technical and product knowledge.
• Capacity to work collaboratively with specialists and stakeholders across various disciplines.
• A genuine commitment to delivering outstanding service to clients and users.
• Curiosity, willingness to experiment, and readiness to engage in meaningful discussions.
• Enthusiasm for Open Source.
• Experience in a remote-first environment with a high degree of autonomy and flexibility.
• Familiarity with OpenProject or Jira is beneficial, but not essential.
