This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee and expand a portfolio of essential education accounts throughout Canada
• Cultivate and sustain relationships with executive leaders, strategic decision-makers, and operational stakeholders
• Conduct regular business evaluations and strategic planning meetings
• Enhance customer retention, satisfaction, and foster long-term partnership growth
• Act as the main point of contact between clients and internal teams
• Convey customer feedback, market intelligence, and strategic suggestions to facilitate product and service enhancements
• Address complex customer issues and handle escalations
• Identify and implement cross-sell and upsell opportunities
• Boost account penetration and share of wallet through strategic account planning and consultative engagement
• Generate referrals, references, and introductions across various campuses, departments, and institutions
• Assist with contract renewals, pricing negotiations, and opportunities for expansion
• Collaborate with Partner Managers and associated service providers to deliver comprehensive solutions
• Coordinate implementation, user adoption, and ongoing value recognition
• Maintain knowledge of trends, challenges, regulations, and opportunities in Canadian higher education
• Advise institutions on best practices, operational enhancements, and innovative methodologies
• Monitor account performance, utilization, customer well-being, and satisfaction metrics
• Prepare account strategies, forecasts, business evaluations, and executive-level reports
• Ensure adherence to company policies, contractual commitments, regulatory standards, and service expectations
• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, Marketing, or a related field, or a comparable combination of education and experience
• Over 7 years of experience in strategic account management, customer success, sales, business development, or relationship management
• Experience with Canadian universities, colleges, educational institutions, or education-related organizations is highly preferred
• Proven track record of managing complex customer relationships and driving revenue growth within current accounts
• Demonstrated capability to engage effectively with executive leadership and operational stakeholders
• Strong skills in consultative selling, negotiation, problem-solving, and stakeholder management
• Exceptional verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication abilities
• Highly organized, self-driven, and capable of working independently in a remote setting
• Willingness to travel occasionally within Canada
