Senior Account Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

šŸ“‹ Description

• Generate sales and profits from new business equipment within a designated territory.

• Commit to an annual sales budget and formulate a yearly business plan to meet territory goals.

• Provide monthly forecasts for the equipment pipeline.

• Collaborate effectively within the territory to enhance the ZEISS surgical equipment portfolio.

• Report weekly activities and share insights, market trends, and competitive actions with management.

• Comply with applicable GMP and ISO 9001 processes and procedures.

• Achieve or surpass annual revenue and profit targets while managing the expense budget.

• Conduct tailored sales demonstrations for surgeons, operating room personnel, and administrative staff.

• Share leads and cultivate accounts within a collaborative team setting.

• Maintain, analyze, and utilize territory records to organize, strategize, execute, and assess results.

• Educate and follow up with customers regarding product operation, usage, and applications.

• Provide timely written and verbal updates to management concerning sales activities.

• Manage a cost center that oversees sales, expenses, inventory, and accounts receivable.

• Keep SFDC reports, dashboards, and updates current for opportunities, leads, and the sales funnel.

• Create synergy opportunities between ZEISS companies, Carl Zeiss Meditec field service, and corporate partners.

• Develop innovative and profitable marketing strategies to address regional needs.

• Submit documentation and requested information completely and promptly.

• Maintain updates in SFDC, Concur, Fleet, and CurioZ.


ā›³ļø Requirements

• A four-year college degree or equivalent experience.

• Minimum of five years of sales experience.

• High level of technical and clinical product knowledge.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

• Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and database management software.

• Exceptional negotiation and diplomacy abilities.

• Develop expertise in product application and practice management implications.

• Must safely operate a motor vehicle and possess a valid driver's license.
