Senior Account Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Cultivate and sustain trusted advisor relationships with current customers and stakeholders to improve customer experience and loyalty.

• Manage complex, high-profile, and strategic business accounts.

• Work collaboratively with internal teams and external vendor partners to efficiently deliver customer service and benefit solutions.

• Guide and train Account Manager team members by sharing best practices, creating training materials, and leading internal task forces or workgroups.

• Create and maintain onboarding materials, job aids, checklists, detailed work instructions, and process documentation.

• Lead or participate in client meetings to address open action items and provide status updates.

• Drive the internal resolution of outstanding action items.

• Oversee benefit changes for clients and offer implementation guidance.

• Evaluate new or modified client requirements for accuracy and feasibility.

• Address client inquiries, issues, and concerns.

• Make decisions on the resolution of member and client challenges.

• Offer clients system support and collaboration tools.

• Mentor Account Managers and new hires and support training initiatives.

• Engage in conference calls, meetings, and occasional travel outside standard business hours.

• Carry out additional duties as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, hospitality management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience, is required.

• A minimum of 2 years of account management experience with increasing responsibilities, or equivalent relevant experience from another role, is required.

• At least 5 years of experience in a customer service role is required.

• Expertise in pharmacy benefits management, insurance, or the healthcare industry is required.

• Commit to, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives.

• Ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with colleagues.

• Standard work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.

• Must reside in a qualifying US state; remote work is not available for residents of Alaska, Hawaii, Maine, Mississippi, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, West Virginia, and Wyoming.
