This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Supervise the entire Risk Management AE team, focusing on staffing, training, account assignments, and related management tasks.
• Manage a portfolio consisting of several of the largest and most intricate accounts.
• Lead team members in delivering coordinated brokerage and services to clients.
• Coordinate the brokerage teams, risk control, claims, and financial lines to ensure that service delivery and expectations are achieved.
• Establish, drive, and monitor processes along with critical timelines for annual insurance renewals.
• Assist in renewal meetings and present outcomes to established client contacts.
• Participate in and lead client meetings as necessary.
• Engage as needed in prospect presentation meetings.
• Identify and facilitate opportunities for business expansion with existing clients.
• Prepare, dispatch, and manage complete renewal submissions for marketing purposes.
• Analyze quotes for accuracy and create quote spreadsheets.
• Assist with data analysis to explore program structure options.
• Develop client presentations that include quotes, spreadsheets, contract comparisons, and other internal marketing materials.
• Oversee the implementation process.
• Review insurance company documents for accuracy and submit any incorrect documents for revision.
• Supervise support staff to manage workflow effectively.
• Serve as a resource for AEs, AAEs, and AMs within Risk Management.
• Complete the annual goal-setting process, along with oversight and daily management of the Risk Management service team.
• A Bachelor's Degree is required; significant work experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
• A state-specific license is required.
• A minimum of 15 years of commercial insurance experience with large accounts is required.
• Experience in AE work and broking/placement is a significant advantage.
• Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.
• Strong multitasking and time management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Publisher.
• Professional appearance and business conduct, coupled with strong customer service skills.
• Willingness to travel for client and prospect meetings approximately 20% of the time.
