This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Develop strategies for significant regional accounts that are crucial for both strategic and revenue growth.
• Concentrate on a select number of key accounts, particularly large multinational corporations.
• Foster new business opportunities within strategic accounts while managing an associated sales quota.
• Oversee the strategy for major strategic accounts and synchronize selling and relationship management activities.
• Comprehend client business strategies, drivers, goals, and initiatives, and convert these into selling opportunities for Gartner.
• Build and sustain executive-level client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
• Manage accounts to enhance customer satisfaction, retention, and growth.
• Implement Gartner’s internal sales methodology effectively.
• Strategically plan for large accounts and oversee territory management.
• Ensure accuracy in monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting.
• Maintain awareness of competitive landscape and focus.
• Exercise fiscal responsibility in managing expenses.
• Keep a thorough understanding of Gartner's products and services.
• Over 6 years of external experience with a demonstrated track record in consultative sales.
• Experience in high technology services, software, or hardware is preferred.
• Capability to prospect and manage relationships with C-level and senior executives in large multinational companies.
• Exhibited intellect, drive, executive presence, and sales expertise.
• Proven success in building strong client relationships while providing valuable, strategic business insights.
• Ability to grasp enterprise-wide challenges and devise innovative, integrated IT decision-support solutions for global organizations.
• In-depth understanding of technology buying centers.
• Extensive and pertinent industry knowledge tailored to vertical markets within each territory.
• High level of computer proficiency.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Proficient in creating and delivering impactful presentations to C-level decision-makers.
• Familiarity with the complete sales lifecycle, from prospecting to closing.
• Language skills as required by the territory.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; a Master’s or advanced degree is a plus.
