This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Achieve revenue objectives for both the clinic and territory.
• Formulate and implement sales and business expansion strategies for designated clinics.
• Track referral patterns and territory performance, addressing any decline in business activity.
• Conduct quarterly business evaluations with clinic leadership and stakeholders.
• Sustain and enhance relationships with current referral sources.
• Cultivate new referral sources through sales calls, educational sessions, cold outreach, and networking.
• Meet weekly activity targets, including logged sales calls and educational sessions in Salesforce.
• Create a robust pipeline of potential referral partners.
• Establish connections with clinicians, physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation centers, and allied health professionals.
• Provide customer service support and address concerns from referral sources.
• Link referral partners with Hanger programs, continuing education opportunities, and community events.
• Form strategic partnerships with hospitals and Integrated Delivery Networks.
• Assist in and lead responses to RFPs, proposals, presentations, and contracting efforts.
• Oversee contract negotiations and institutional fee adjustments.
• Develop implementation plans and track contract performance metrics.
• Complete necessary facility and vendor credentialing processes.
• Identify and assess trade show and conference opportunities.
• Evaluate ROI on business development activities and events.
• Implement regional growth initiatives and special projects.
• BA/BS in Healthcare Administration, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field OR an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• At least 5 years of experience in professional sales, preferably within the healthcare sector, or 1 year as a Business Development Associate.
• Proficient in CRM systems, particularly Salesforce.
• Demonstrated history of achieving or surpassing sales targets.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
• Valid driver’s license and driving record compliant with Hanger’s Motor Vehicle Safety Policy and Procedures.
• Previous experience engaging with hospitals, Integrated Delivery Networks, clinics, and physician groups.
• Understanding of procurement processes, Group Purchasing Organizations, and payor dynamics.
• Strong negotiation and closing capabilities.
• Ability to operate independently in a field-based position.
• Analytical skills to interpret sales reports, market trends, and customer insights.
• Capacity to maintain positive customer relations.

• Strong written, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
