
Senior Account Executive, Builder

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Develop, convert, and maintain national and regional builder accounts for roofing and stone sales throughout the eastern United States.
• Offer external support to account managers to meet new customer acquisition and sales budget objectives.
• Engage in high-level customer meetings and assist Account Managers in establishing priorities.
• Manage essential builder relationships within the Florida region.
• Collaborate with divisional teams, architects, designers, and local supply chains that support builder operations.
• Coordinate with production, technical services, credit, product management, and supply chain departments to address issues.
• Foster and enhance account relationships with local sales teams.
• Keep accurate client records, including contracts, rebates, and construction schedules.
• Formulate sales strategies to boost market share across the territory.
• Acquire product knowledge to effectively upsell and cross-sell Stone and Roofing products.
• Promote premium products by emphasizing value over price.
• Report the progress, pipeline, and strategic direction of efforts to internal management and sales teams.
• Observe competitor activities to proactively retain business.
• Analyze and manage divisional expenditures in alignment with budget constraints.
• Compile regular sales reports detailing sales volume and potential sales opportunities.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in building products.
• Capability to negotiate pricing with accounts across various markets.
• Project management expertise.
• Strong analytical, financial, and data-driven skills.
• Proficiency in multitasking and managing multiple opportunities simultaneously.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Public speaking capabilities and familiarity with software utilized in sales presentations.
• Extensive experience in sales and sales administration.
• Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Demonstrated history of meeting or surpassing quotas and receiving positive feedback from customers.
• Proficiency in MS Office and the Salesforce CRM suite.
• Willingness to travel at least 50%, primarily within Florida.
• Capability to be away from home for several nights each week.
• Ability to spend several hours per day in automobiles.
• Must possess insurability and a valid driver's license from a US state.
