Senior Account Executive, Advanced Pulmonary Conditions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Drive the strategy and execution within the territory to meet referral, patient admission, and growth targets.

• Act as the primary sales contact for physicians, hospital clinics, infusion centers, and various referral sources.

• Establish and nurture relationships with healthcare providers, office personnel, and pulmonary specialty stakeholders.

• Collaborate with clinical, reimbursement, operational, and manufacturer partners to enhance patient access and reinforce Accredo’s value proposition.

• Assist in the implementation of payer agreements and work alongside National Account Managers on market opportunities and local execution activities.

• Create territory business plans, forecasts, and referral strategies utilizing market intelligence and account insights.

• Track referral activity, market trends, and competitive dynamics to spot growth and retention opportunities.

• Represent Accredo at conferences, educational programs, advocacy events, and industry gatherings.

• Compliantly partner with pharmaceutical manufacturers to provide provider education and enhance the referral process.

• Engage in strategic launch planning, case conferences, and sales meetings.


⛳️ Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in healthcare, specialty pharmacy, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or a related sales field.

• Proven ability in selling service-based solutions and cultivating strategic customer relationships.

• Strong knowledge of managed care, payer systems, specialty pharmacy, and reimbursement processes.

• Experience in formulating and executing territory business plans while achieving sales objectives.

• Exceptional communication, presentation, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and AI-enabled productivity tools.

• Capability to work autonomously in a field-based position and travel within the assigned territory.

• Must currently reside in Missouri, Iowa, or Minnesota.

• If working remotely, internet service must be cable broadband or fiber optic with a minimum speed of 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload.
