This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa, +2 more states.
• Lead the strategy and execution within your territory to meet referral, patient admission, and growth targets.
• Act as the main sales representative for physicians, hospital clinics, infusion centers, and various referral sources.
• Establish and nurture relationships with healthcare providers, office personnel, and stakeholders in pulmonary specialty areas.
• Collaborate with clinical teams, reimbursement specialists, operational partners, and manufacturers to enhance patient access.
• Assist in the implementation of payer agreements and work alongside National Account Managers to identify market opportunities and facilitate local execution.
• Create comprehensive territory business plans, forecasts, and referral strategies utilizing market intelligence and account insights.
• Track referral activities, market trends, and competitive dynamics to uncover growth and retention opportunities.
• Represent Accredo at industry conferences, educational programs, advocacy events, and other relevant meetings.
• Collaborate in a compliant manner with pharmaceutical manufacturers to provide provider education and enhance referral process efficiency.
• Engage in strategic launch planning, case conferences, and sales meetings.
• Must currently reside in Missouri, Iowa, or Minnesota.
• At least 8 years of experience in healthcare, specialty pharmacy, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or related sales roles.
• Proven track record of successfully selling service-based solutions and forging strategic customer relationships.
• Strong knowledge of managed care, payer environments, specialty pharmacy, and reimbursement mechanisms.
• Experience in developing and executing territory business plans and achieving sales objectives.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and AI-driven productivity tools.
• Capability to work autonomously in a field-based role and travel within the designated territory.
• High-speed internet via cable broadband or fiber optic service with a minimum of 10Mbps download and 5Mbps upload speed is required for remote work.
• Preferred: experience in supporting pulmonary disease states such as PAH, IPF, ILD, or Alpha-1 therapies.
• Preferred: background in specialty pharmacy services, infusion therapies, or complex care models.
• Preferred: clinical expertise or advanced knowledge in managing pulmonary diseases.
• Preferred: established connections within the Minnesota, Iowa, and Missouri markets.
