This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Report directly to the VP of Client Services.
• Take ownership of and effectively manage client relationships, including those with agency partners.
• Lead client kickoffs, set expectations, manage escalations, and assess client needs.
• Convert signed work and client proposals into actionable execution plans within the internal project management system.
• Oversee programs across Content, Design, Film, Marketing, and Engineering.
• Manage clinical and medical-legal review processes.
• Mentor two to three Account Managers while nurturing the development of Account Directors, Managers, and Coordinators.
• Collaborate directly with optometrists, ophthalmologists, and other key opinion leaders (KOLs) and clinical partners.
• Monitor renewals, facilitate account growth, and work alongside Sales on future initiatives.
• Analyze campaign performance and deliver client reports focusing on results and actionable next steps.
• Communicate with clients and agencies via phone and email to gather feedback and provide project updates.
• Participate in occasional client meetings, trade shows, film shoots, doctor dinners, and live or hybrid events.
• Conceptualize, plan, and execute high-budget marketing, advertising, and content campaigns.
• Create clinical guides, conduct interviews, write articles, and produce multimedia content.
• Coordinate and supervise film shoots.
• Assess new business opportunities and develop pitch ideas in collaboration with company leadership.
• Coordinate clinical programming alongside doctor KOLs.
• Provide progress reports and relevant client information to the Sales team.
• Travel approximately six to ten times annually, typically for two to three days each trip.
• Offer evening coverage two to three nights per month and work occasional weekends.
• Over 7 years of account management experience within a marketing agency.
• More than 5 years of experience managing content and marketing projects.
• Proven experience working with clients at large healthcare organizations.
• Experience in people management.
• Familiarity with marketing, content, design, and product specialists.
• Demonstrated ability to retain and/or expand client accounts (preferred candidates).
• Agency experience (preferred candidates).
• Background or experience in eyecare (preferred candidates).
• Willingness to travel approximately six to ten times per year.
• Availability for two to three evenings per month, including occasional weekends.
• Openness to working with clinical and medical-legal review cycles.
