Security Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Initiate consultation calls with new clients to evaluate their security posture, infrastructure components, compliance obligations, and objectives.

• Offer recommendations and guidance to enhance the security posture of clients.

• Design high-level security programs incorporating technical, operational, and administrative controls tailored to industry standards and client requirements.

• Work alongside clients to tailor and refine security programs for particular use cases.

• Engage with clients and stakeholders to facilitate the effective development of security programs.

• Coordinate with auditors to ensure client security programs meet auditor expectations.

• Maintain expertise in NIST, SOC 2, ISO 27001, CMMC, AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and other related frameworks and technologies.

• Provide insights to the engineering team regarding integrations, solutions, and products.

• Convert security concepts into actionable technical implementations.

• Collaborate with internal teams to execute security programs via policies, procedures, configurations, and software integrations.

• Disseminate security knowledge among customers and colleagues.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in information security, compliance, auditing, security operations, GRC, vCISO, security consulting, IT/compliance auditing, or a related customer success/IT support role.

• In-depth knowledge of security best practices.

• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR, and PCI.

• Capability to map controls to infrastructure and operational needs.

• Experience in Technical Account Management, client-facing roles, or engaging with stakeholders.

• Strong instincts in project management.

• Ability to comprehend client infrastructure and align security controls with compliance objectives.

• Excellent analytical skills to assess environments and identify necessary safeguards.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Capacity to work autonomously and adapt strategies on a case-by-case basis in a dynamic startup atmosphere.

• Commitment to meeting tight deadlines and achieving results.

• Possession of one or more of the following certifications: CISA, CISSP, or CISM (preferred).

• Experience in a Lead Auditor capacity (preferred).

• Background in customer success, IT support, or technical support (preferred).

• Must disclose location and country of work and indicate visa sponsorship needs.
