Supported Living – In-Home Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Oversee the Supported Living/In-Home program at Wall Residences

• Assist adults with intellectual disabilities by providing skill-building activities and routine, general, and safety supports

• Facilitate the acquisition, retention, or enhancement of self-direction, socialization, and adaptive skills for individuals

• Enhance individuals’ initiative, autonomy, and self-awareness both at home and within the community

• Manage supports that enable individuals to sustain their independence in their residences

• Deliver or coordinate 24-hour support, specialized supervision, assistance with ADL and IADL, and interventions focused on health and safety

• Create and generalize skills through skill-building initiatives that foster self-direction and social connections

• Build supportive relationships with Direct Support Professional Staff, individuals receiving services, and their families

• Link individuals to meaningful community activities

• Travel as necessary within a designated regional area

⛳️ Requirements

• Clinical background with a solid understanding of person-centered service development and positive behavior supports

• Capability to cultivate supportive relationships with Direct Support Professional Staff, individuals receiving services, and their families

• Experience in connecting individuals to meaningful community activities

• A Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services field is mandatory

• A minimum of one year of experience in the developmental disabilities (DD) field is preferred

• Two years of supervisory experience is preferred

• Home office and internet access are required

• An active driver's license with a clean driving record is necessary

• Outstanding references

• Successful completion of a criminal background check

• Must be a mandated reporter of abuse and neglect for individuals with disabilities
