This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Design, develop, configure, and support Axway SecureTransport Advanced Routing.
• Set up routing policies, routes, partners, transfer sites, subscriptions, schedules, and SLAs.
• Execute Tier-3 troubleshooting across SecureTransport, operating system, network, and application layers.
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement appropriate remediation measures.
• Oversee SFTP/SSH, HTTPS/TLS, FTPS, and PGP/GPG security protocols.
• Manage users, roles, partner configurations, certificates, keys, and access controls effectively.
• Create scripts for log parsing, certificate validation, and routing verification.
• Monitor transfer health, routing flows, partner failures, and certificate expiry.
• Manage all aspects of the certificate lifecycle, including CSRs, issuance, renewal, and trust/key stores.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, runbooks, technical documentation, and knowledge articles.
• Collaborate with application, security, network, and business teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Assist with security hardening, audits, compliance activities, and vulnerability remediation.
• Minimum of 5 years experience administering Axway SecureTransport in a production environment.
• At least 5 years of experience in Linux/RHEL system administration.
• Over 3 years of experience designing and supporting Axway Advanced Routing.
• A minimum of 3 years in Tier-3 troubleshooting involving SecureTransport protocols and routing.
• At least 3 years of enterprise security experience with SSH, PKI, PGP/GPG, TLS, and certificates.
• Strong understanding of SFTP, HTTPS/TLS, FTPS, and Managed File Transfer (MFT) protocols.
• Experience with routing, policies, partner configurations, subscriptions, and transfer sites.
• Excellent troubleshooting and root-cause analysis capabilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
• Certifications in Linux, Security, or Axway are preferred.
• Familiarity with monitoring platforms such as Splunk, Dynatrace, or similar is preferred.
• Experience with load balancers, firewalls, NAT, DNS, IP subnets, and routing is preferred.
• Knowledge of CIS/NIST security hardening practices is preferred.
• Experience in managing certificate/key rotation is preferred.
• Previous work experience in highly regulated or mission-critical environments is preferred.
• Must provide proof of U.S. work authorization status.
• Candidates must be located in Ohio for this remote position.
• Fully remote work arrangement.
• Options for W2 or C2C/1099 engagement.
• Monday–Friday work schedule within JFS core hours.
• On-call rotation for mission-critical file transfers.
