OCP Engineer, FIX Messaging

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Manage and operate Kubernetes alongside other container platforms.

• Collaborate with Red Hat Open Shift Container (OCP).

• Engage with Broadridge Appia, Open-source QuickFIX, and SWIFT Alliance Access products.

• Develop Docker files, create images, execute containers, and oversee Docker volumes and registries.

• Work with the FIX protocol and manage FIX order flow.

• Administer Linux systems and network environments.

• Utilize scripting languages such as Shell, Perl, or Python.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 6 years of relevant experience with Kubernetes and other container technologies.

• 5 years of expertise with Red Hat Open Shift Container (OCP).

• Familiarity with Broadridge Appia, Open-source QuickFIX, and SWIFT Alliance Access products.

• Bachelor’s degree, ideally in Computer Science or Engineering.

• Proficiency in creating Docker files, building images, executing containers, and managing Docker volumes and registries.

• Strong understanding of the FIX protocol and FIX order flow.

• Solid administrative knowledge of Linux and networking environments.

• Proficient in any scripting language such as Shell, Perl, Python, etc.
