📋 Description

• Offer specialized knowledge in secondary and post-16 computing and digital education within STEM Learning.

• Play a key role in shaping STEM Learning’s strategic vision, program development, and overall educational impact.

• Create and implement high-quality professional learning experiences.

• Integrate subject expertise, educational research, sector intelligence, and advancements in technology.

• Ensure that the provision of computing and digital education is grounded in evidence, innovative, and adaptable to changes in curriculum and policy.

• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.

• Enhance STEM Learning’s expertise, reach, and influence in the field.

• Identify and pursue opportunities for growth and improvement.

• Assist in establishing STEM Learning as a prominent authority in computing, artificial intelligence, and digital education.

• Support educators through professional development and contribute to various STEM education initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive professional experience in secondary and/or post-16 computing and digital education.

• Strong comprehension of curriculum, qualifications, pedagogy, and the latest trends in computing and digital education.

• A relevant degree-level qualification or equivalent professional experience in computing, education, or a related field.

• Proven experience in designing, developing, and delivering professional learning for educators and/or other education professionals.

• Experience in creating evidence-informed educational resources and applying research and evidence effectively in practice.

• Skilled in building and managing productive partnerships with external organizations and delivery partners.

• Experience in managing complex projects while juggling competing priorities and deadlines.

• Ideally, experience in large-scale or national programs.
