SEC Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Czechia.

📋 Description

• Offer strategic guidance, leadership, management, and coordination of Quality Management & Engineering functions within the local ABB EUOPC Operations in sectors related to Functional Safety.

• Initiate, coordinate, lead, and supervise the development of teams and the continuous enhancement of processes and procedures.

• Enhance the quality of engineering and design capabilities.

• Propel team performance to guarantee that assigned engineering operations are conducted with the anticipated level of quality.

• Provide quality assurance in areas of Functional Safety Management and extend support to Quality Management Systems.

• Collaborate and coordinate directly with the EUOPC SEC Team Leader and other EUOPC Team Leaders overseeing FS Engineers.

• Assist Operations & Business Engagement Managers in matters related to Functional Safety and offer pre-sales support to LBLs on Functional Safety topics.

• Report directly to the ABB EUOPC Oil & Gas, Chemical & Refining Group Leader.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Quality Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Strong comprehension of pre-sales, sales, engineering & project management, and quality control processes.

• Detail-oriented with robust analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Experience in business analysis and process development within industries related to Functional Safety (primarily in Energy Industries such as oil & gas, chemicals & refining, and power generation, but not limited to these).

• In-depth understanding of quality management principles and practices, including the implementation and maintenance of IEC 61508 / IEC 61511 or ISO 9001.

• Exceptional communication, organizational, and training abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities.

• Proficiency in English and Czech Language (required for handling internal directives and ISO9001 documentation in Czech).
