This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• Oversee daily coaching and performance management for a team of Sales Development Specialists across various NALA sectors; take ownership of team quota achievement and establish expectations for customer engagement, pipeline quality, and development.
• Provide coaching through individual meetings, call assessments, role-playing exercises, and collaborative customer interactions.
• Participate in customer calls to gain insights into customer needs, use cases, and challenges faced by sellers; transform observations into coaching and enablement opportunities.
• Manage industry alignment with Account Managers and Regional Industry Sales Leaders; collaborate with Solution Architects, Industry Business Development, Marketing, and Channel on account priorities, ownership, and follow-up actions.
• Convert industry priorities into specific outbound account development strategies, sales plays, and campaigns.
• Focus on pipeline generation and opportunity advancement; assess outreach and event activities in relation to industry objectives and customer value.
• Manage account priorities, workload distribution, sales strategies, routing exceptions, and performance measures; address execution challenges and escalate dependencies to sales leadership.
• Collaborate with operations and enablement teams to automate standard inbound responses and triage while ensuring follow-up and exception handling remains intact.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of overall sales experience in enterprise technology, encompassing sales development, account development, business development, or field sales.
• 5+ years of experience in directly leading, coaching, and developing a sales, sales development, or account development team.
• Strong coaching abilities demonstrated through customer discovery, engagement with field sales and technical teams, direct observation, actionable feedback, and sustained improvements in seller capabilities.
• Experience in performance management and crafting individual development plans; skilled at evaluating readiness for expanded responsibilities based on demonstrated skills, judgment, and customer and business outcomes.
• Proven record of achieving team quotas and sales targets by aligning sales development efforts with industry priorities and executing outbound campaigns that generate pertinent opportunities.
• Experience collaborating with industry sales leaders, Account Managers, and Solution Architects, coordinating with partners without direct authority, and addressing daily coverage and ownership challenges.
• Ability to prioritize accounts, manage workload, and differentiate productive account development from activities that do not contribute to customer or industry goals.
• History of nurturing sales development professionals into account management, business development, or other advanced sales roles through evidence-based coaching and readiness evaluation.
• Experience leading teams across diverse industries and adapting various industry strategies into targeted account development plans and effective outbound campaigns.
• Familiarity with NVIDIA platforms, routes to market, and organizational dynamics, or experience navigating a similarly complex technology sales environment.
• Understanding of AI, accelerated computing, enterprise software, and customer use cases in both on-premises and public cloud contexts.
• Experience partnering with operations teams on inbound automation and executing approved AI-assisted workflows that enhance outreach quality and seller productivity.
