This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create and sustain automated testing scripts and frameworks to verify software performance and functionality across various platforms.
• Collaborate with software developers to detect and rectify defects and issues.
• Engage in the complete software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, implementation, and testing.
• Review and evaluate system specifications and documentation to ensure they are testable and align with business requirements.
• Execute both manual and automated test cases and assess the results.
• Identify, log, and monitor software bugs and defects.
• Conduct regression testing upon resolution of bugs.
• Generate and maintain test documentation and reports.
• Develop and implement testing processes for both new and existing products to fulfill client requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ascertain system requirements.
• Keep abreast of emerging testing tools and best practices.
• Collaborate with teams located in various geographical areas.
• Participate in additional projects or responsibilities as assigned.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
• A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test or a comparable role.
• Proficient in automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Playwright, JUnit, Cucumber, BDD).
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• Experience in mobile, API, and database testing is advantageous.
• Background in the healthcare sector is beneficial.
• Acceptable equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Strong grasp of software development and testing methodologies.
• Proficient in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java/Groovy, Python, TypeScript).
• Awareness of agile frameworks and regression testing.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Outstanding communication skills and capability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
