This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Facilitate collaboration among cross-functional Agile development teams by applying Scrum Framework principles and tools.
• Assist self-organized teams in successfully completing Scrum projects.
• Eliminate obstacles and lead daily stand-up meetings.
• Organize sprint reviews, retrospectives, grooming sessions, and planning activities.
• Monitor progress, escalate issues as necessary, and uphold schedules.
• Strategically plan, manage, and deliver solutions while adhering to agile methodology values, principles, and practices.
• Provide training, mentorship, and support to scrum teams.
• Identify and manage tasks, issues, risks, and action items.
• Schedule and facilitate Scrum events, meetings, and decision-making processes.
• Track performance and progress while assisting teams in their improvement efforts.
• Organize and plan demos and product/system testing activities.
• Ensure effective collaborative processes and address any impediments.
• Monitor project processes, deliverables, and financials.
• Prepare and deliver status reports to stakeholders.
• Execute additional duties as assigned.
• A Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience is required.
• 2 to 4 years of experience serving as a scrum master is required.
• Must possess a certified scrum master designation.
• Proficient understanding of agile methodologies, techniques, and frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Experience in facilitating daily Scrum meetings.
• Proven experience in conducting Sprint planning meetings.
• Background in documenting feedback meetings or Sprint reviews.
• Experience in leading retrospectives.
• Familiarity with administering the Scrum Board.
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps or Jira.
• Experience in internal consulting.
• Ability to analyze burndown charts.
• Proven experience in managing and resolving roadblocks.
• Demonstrated leadership and management capabilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and project management skills.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Access to reliable cable broadband or fiber optic internet service with at least 100Mbps download and 25Mbps upload speeds.
