Scrum Master

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Eliminate technical or business obstacles that impede the agile team's progress.

• Oversee the development project.

• Ensure adherence to the development process.

• Keep the team aligned with the delivery plan and foresee potential issues that may cause deviations.

• Ensure activities are documented accurately and promptly to facilitate the timely collection of metrics.

• Protect the development team from negative events.

• Facilitate the onboarding of new team members.

• Oversee or facilitate project ceremonies, ensuring goals are achieved and devising action plans for any adverse situations.

• Make sure items on the delivery plan are addressed and communicate logged issues for prompt resolution.

• Ensure the project is executed in a timely manner while maintaining customer satisfaction.

• Assist in prioritizing the roadmap with the customer, balancing delivered value with the financial health of the project.

• Cultivate team synergy and connect individuals with differing objectives.

• Identify disengagement and collaborate with the Project Manager and Account Manager to create action plans.

• Eliminate obstacles that could impede progress and threaten the delivery plan.

• Supervise the documentation of activities that are planned and required by the process.

• Provide managers with updates on project progress and forecasts.

• Support customer communications, prepare reports, and manage the administrative and financial aspects of the contract.

• Assist in the monthly billing closure by reconciling internal and customer metrics and resolving discrepancies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, or completion of any undergraduate degree coupled with a postgraduate qualification (specialization, master’s, or doctoral degree) in Information Technology of at least 360 hours.

• CSM – Certified Scrum Master (Scrum Alliance) or PSM – Professional Scrum Master (Scrum.org).

• Preferred experience: 3 years as a Scrum Master on projects utilizing agile methodologies.

• Knowledge of applying agile software development principles and practices, including the Agile Manifesto, Scrum, and Kanban.

• Understanding of functional and non-functional requirements analysis.

• Familiarity with implementing design patterns, including enterprise integration patterns, design patterns, and microservices patterns.

• Proficiency in relational data modeling.

• Knowledge of UX methodologies and techniques, encompassing design, architecture, interaction, usability, and research.
