Project Manager – Scrum Master

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Provide support to multiple teams or manage a complex, cross-functional product or value stream.

• Lead intricate discussions, planning events, retrospectives, workshops, and decision-making sessions that involve several teams and senior stakeholders.

• Coach and mentor teams and stakeholders on Agile methodologies.

• Identify and resolve systemic impediments, organizational constraints, delivery risks, and cross-team dependencies.

• Differentiate between team-level issues, product management challenges, engineering concerns, and broader organizational roadblocks.

• Oversee product backlogs, product objectives, sprint goals, prioritization, capacity management, and value-driven delivery.

• Utilize both quantitative and qualitative delivery data to uncover patterns and promote continuous improvement.

• Engage with Agile delivery management tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, Miro, or similar platforms.

• Persuade stakeholders and leadership without having direct reporting authority.

• Work effectively with distributed, multicultural, and cross-functional teams in dynamic, fast-paced, and complex environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8-12 years of experience in project management and application development.

• Proficient understanding of program management strategies, tools, and methodologies in Agile settings.

• Proven experience leading Scrum ceremonies.

• Background in Release Management, Change Management, and Project Management.

• Experience in Data Science, AI, or advanced analytics programs is preferred.

• Familiarity with cloud-based platforms such as Azure or AWS.

• Strong expertise in program governance, reporting, and risk management.

• Significant experience as a Scrum Master or Agile delivery manager.

• Demonstrated success in supporting multiple teams or managing a complex cross-functional product or value stream.

• Advanced knowledge of Scrum, Lean, and Agile principles.

• Experience in facilitating complex discussions, planning events, retrospectives, workshops, and decision-making sessions with multiple teams and senior stakeholders.

• Skills in coaching, mentoring, facilitation, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management.

• Proven ability to identify and tackle systemic impediments, organizational constraints, delivery risks, and cross-team dependencies.

• Understanding of product backlog management, product objectives, sprint goals, prioritization, capacity management, and value-driven delivery.

• Experience in using quantitative and qualitative delivery data to identify trends and drive improvements.

• Proficient in Agile delivery management tools like Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, Miro, or equivalent platforms.

• Experience collaborating with distributed, multicultural, and cross-functional teams.

• Capability to influence stakeholders and leadership without direct reporting authority.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to thrive in ambiguous, rapidly changing, and complex environments.
