Manager, Scrum Master

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Mentor Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Agile teams on Agile principles, Scrum values, and industry best practices.

• Assist teams in achieving self-organization, cross-functionality, accountability, and ongoing improvement.

• Facilitate and manage Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.

• Eliminate impediments and address risks and obstacles that affect productivity and sprint commitments.

• Shield teams from external disruptions, scope creep, and conflicting priorities.

• Evaluate team capacity, velocity, historical performance, and delivery potential for project planning.

• Collaborate with Product Owners on backlog management, prioritization, user story refinement, and roadmap execution.

• Facilitate communication and collaboration among cross-functional stakeholders.

• Ensure the identification of risks, development of mitigation strategies, and contingency planning.

• Establish and uphold Scrum processes for backlog management, prioritization, and user story refinement.

• Recognize bottlenecks and workflow inefficiencies, driving continuous improvement initiatives.

• Formulate budget and resource-planning strategies.

• Support Agile work planning and execution across various teams and initiatives.

• Guarantee effective resource allocation to fulfill delivery commitments and business objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience in Agile delivery, Scrum Master roles, Agile Coach positions, project management, or related fields.

• Proven experience leading and coaching Agile teams in complex environments.

• Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.

• Demonstrated capability to remove impediments, resolve conflicts, and enhance team dynamics.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

• Effective collaboration and teamwork skills.

• A growth mindset, embracing agility and the development of oneself and others.

• Proficient in execution and delivery, including planning, delivering, and supporting initiatives.

• Preferred certifications include Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), SAFe Agilist, or equivalent Agile certification.

• Experience in managing or mentoring Scrum Masters and Agile practitioners.

• Familiarity with Agile planning tools and delivery metrics.

• Comprehensive understanding of Agile frameworks, including Scrum, Kanban, and scaled Agile methodologies.

• A bachelor's degree is preferred, along with specialized training, Agile certification, or relevant professional qualifications.
