Scrum Master

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee Pega product development projects from the initial gathering of requirements to the final delivery of solutions.

• Work closely with business stakeholders and end users to understand their needs, collect requirements, and document user stories.

• Establish and uphold clear acceptance criteria.

• Collaborate with Product Owners to rank product backlogs based on business value, risks, dependencies, and delivery timelines.

• Evaluate and enhance business processes, workflows, and operational practices.

• Perform process mapping, fit-gap analysis, and activities related to business transformation.

• Act as the main liaison between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams.

• Assume the role of Scrum Master for Agile development teams that operate in two-week sprint cycles.

• Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement sessions, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

• Eliminate obstacles and proactively manage delivery risks.

• Coordinate dependencies among teams and stakeholders.

• Promote accountability and foster continuous improvement within Agile teams.

• Monitor sprint progress and ensure the timely completion of committed tasks.

• Create and present sprint summaries, executive status reports, release notes, and project updates.

• Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities and stakeholder demonstrations.

• Report on project status, risks, blockers, and mitigation strategies to leadership and clients.

• Build strong relationships with business partners, product owners, and technical teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, process mapping, fit-gap analysis, and business transformation initiatives.

• At least 2 years of experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile setting.

• Over 2 years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, consulting, and delivering client-facing projects.

• Proficient in defining business questions, success metrics, reporting requirements, and product delivery goals.

• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and Scrum frameworks.

• Demonstrated ability to lead projects, workstreams, and cross-functional teams.

• Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Capability to work autonomously while effectively collaborating in a team environment.

• Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Experience in supporting Pega implementations or enterprise software development initiatives is preferred.

• Familiarity with government, public sector, or highly regulated environments is preferred.

• Knowledge of Agile project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms is preferred.

• Scrum Master Certification (CSM, PSM, SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent) is preferred.

• Experience aiding digital transformation or modernization programs is preferred.

• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
