Scrum Master

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete Pega product development lifecycle from initial discovery to final delivery, ensuring that solutions are secure, scalable, and meet client business requirements.

• Collaborate with end customers and stakeholders to collect requirements, document user stories, and establish clear acceptance criteria.

• Prioritize the product backlog in conjunction with the Product Owner, based on business value, urgency for delivery, dependencies, and security aspects.

• Act as Scrum Master for two-week sprints, facilitating planning sessions, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.

• Provide leadership to the development team by eliminating obstacles, managing risks, coordinating dependencies, and fostering accountability.

• Document achievements and deliverables for clients through sprint summaries, status reports, demos, release notes, and support for UAT.

• Serve as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure clear communication and comprehension of requirements.

• Collaborate with technical teams to develop and enhance business process workflows and rules.

• Work remotely on a daily basis, accessing customer systems using approved communication platforms provided by the customer.

• Participate in onsite client meetings as needed.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, process mapping, fit-gap analysis, or transformation initiatives.

• At least 2 years of experience serving as a Scrum Master.

• More than 2 years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, consulting, or a similar client-facing role.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in defining business questions, success metrics, or reporting requirements in collaboration with clients or cross-functional teams.

• Strong ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• High attention to detail and a commitment to quality in work products.

• Capability to build and maintain professional relationships.

• Proven ability to lead projects or workstreams.

• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Strong interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor.

• Skill in providing clear guidance to others.

• Exceptional organizational skills.

• US Citizenship is required due to security clearance requirements.

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.

• Experience with the Pega development environment is preferred.

• Scrum Master certification is highly desirable.

• Active VA Public Trust is a plus.

• Previous experience supporting federal agencies is advantageous.

• Prior successful experience working in a remote setting.
