This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

• Act as the Scrum Master for up to two Agile teams

• Ensure compliance with Scrum principles, practices, and ceremonies

• Facilitate sprint planning sessions, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives

• Eliminate impediments and obstacles faced by the team

• Guide team members in Agile methodologies and best practices

• Work collaboratively with product owners, stakeholders, and development teams to prioritize and refine product backlogs

• Track team performance metrics and monitor sprint progress

• Cultivate a deep understanding of software solutions and workflows

• Support the Product Owner and Business Analyst in crafting user stories and defining acceptance criteria

• Aid in clarifying requirements between the Product Owner's vision and the Agile team's technical execution

• Engage in additional testing initiatives such as break-a-thons

• Convert completed features and bug fixes into user-focused release notes

• Oversee and document feedback and issues related to User Acceptance Testing, escalating when necessary

• A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile setting, ideally within the healthcare sector

• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, principles, and practices, with the ability to adapt strategies to meet project demands

• Familiarity with the Scaled Agile Framework™ (SAFe) is a plus

• Proficient in JIRA and Confluence

• Exceptional communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills

• Analytical thinker capable of critical thinking, complex problem-solving, and making data-driven decisions

• Knowledge of healthcare industry standards, regulations, HL7 interfaces, and best practices in Canada or the United States

• Experience with software quality testing and quality assurance processes

• Background as a clinical informaticist or involvement in a healthcare system's application support team

• Proficiency in French, English, and Spanish, both spoken and written
