Scrum Master

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee a team to deliver software products in incremental stages.

• Aid in achieving daily, iteration, and release targets along with delivery goals.

• Implement, uphold, and enhance Agile/Scrum methodologies and practices.

• Evaluate Agile maturity levels and guide teams towards improved maturity.

• Mentor and educate the team on Agile processes, methods, and practices.

• Drive process improvement and re-engineering efforts.

• Coach the team while fostering a positive work atmosphere.

• Lead and facilitate meetings, ensuring team accountability.

• Maintain responsibility for both the process and the product.

• Promote positive team dynamics to enhance overall team performance.

• Identify and eliminate obstacles while shielding the team from external disruptions.

• Manage backlogs, sprint planning, and release strategies.

• Oversee customer expectations and system requirements.

• Lead, direct, and assess the work of an independent professional team.

⛳️ Requirements

• US citizenship is a prerequisite.

• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; additional experience may be considered in place of formal education.

• Capability to pass a Tier 2 MBI background investigation.

• Strong analytical abilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively to address challenges.

• Self-motivated and a quick learner.

• Capacity to manage multiple and shifting priorities while adhering to deadlines.

• Flexibility to work necessary hours to meet stringent deadlines.

• Advanced Scrum Master certifications (preferred).

• Several years of experience leading Agile teams (preferred).

• Experience in various application development (preferred).

• Background in supporting Federal government projects (preferred).

• Experience with modernization and cloud initiatives (preferred).

• Ability to apply advanced principles, theories, and concepts, contributing to innovative ideas (preferred).

• Experience in a dynamic, multifaceted environment (preferred).

• Capacity to independently identify and resolve challenges (preferred).
