Scrum Master – Top Secret Clearance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Act as the Scrum Master for one or more Agile development teams.

• Facilitate sprint planning sessions, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

• Guide teams on Agile principles, the Scrum framework, and practices for continuous improvement.

• Identify and eliminate obstacles impacting team delivery while proactively managing risks and dependencies.

• Collaborate with Product Owners on backlog refinement, prioritization, and ensuring story readiness.

• Provide reports on sprint progress, metrics, and delivery results.

• Promote collaboration among developers, testers, UX, and program leadership.

• Ensure that Agile practices conform to federal program requirements, security guidelines, and compliance standards.

• Assist in Agile transformation initiatives and mentor team members on enhancing Agile maturity.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

• Over 7 years of experience in supporting Agile software development processes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience collaborating with DCSA.

• Experience in federal or DoD IT programs.

• Proven experience functioning as a Scrum Master in complex, enterprise-scale environments.

• Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks, particularly Scrum.

• Scrum Master certification (CSM, SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent).

• Capability to work within U.S. remote-location restrictions; access from foreign locations/foreign IP addresses is not permitted.

• Availability to work core hours from 8am to 5pm Eastern Time, with the flexibility to start earlier or extend later based on time zone.
