Scientist II, Field Applications, qPCR

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Deliver exceptional scientific expertise and technical assistance to clients

• Act as a reliable technical advisor, guiding customers in maximizing the use of advanced technologies

• Provide support during both pre-sales and post-sales phases

• Conduct engaging product demonstrations and practical training sessions

• Offer troubleshooting support and technical consultations

• Collaborate closely with sales teams and cross-functional partners

• Assist customers in making scientific breakthroughs while fostering long-term relationships

• Contribute to business success by providing customer-centric technical knowledge

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's or Engineering degree in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or Biochemistry; alternatively, an Associate Degree (Bac+2 equivalent) with over 4 years of relevant laboratory experience

• Additional relevant certifications are advantageous

• Practical experience with qPCR technologies and applications; familiarity with dPCR technologies and applications is a plus

• Proficiency in data analysis, experimental design, and method development

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities

• Understanding of relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices

• Competence in Microsoft Office and related scientific software

• Excellent scientific and technical communication and presentation skills

• Ability to adjust to diverse customer profiles and requirements

• Customer-oriented mindset with excellent interpersonal skills

• Experience in technical training, customer support, or troubleshooting is beneficial; prior Field Application Scientist experience is not mandatory

• Comfortable working both independently and within teams

• Commercial awareness and insight into customer needs

• Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills

• Willingness to adapt and learn

• Fluent in French and professionally proficient in English, both written and spoken

• Valid driver's license required

• Willingness to travel 50–75%
