Scientist II, Field Applications

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Offer both pre-sales and post-sales technical and scientific assistance to clients.

• Conduct product demonstrations and provide hands-on training for customers.

• Deliver technical advice and troubleshooting support.

• Assist clients with qPCR technologies and their applications.

• Help customers with data analysis, experimental design, and method development.

• Tailor technical support and communication to meet various customer profiles and needs.

• Work closely with sales teams and cross-functional partners to fulfill customer and business goals.

• Establish and nurture strong, long-term relationships with customers.

• Travel frequently to assist customers, with a willingness to travel 50% or more.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Biology, Biomedical Sciences, or a related discipline.

• Over 2 years of relevant hands-on laboratory experience.

• Practical experience with qPCR technologies and their applications.

• Familiarity with data analysis, experimental design, and method development.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Understanding of pertinent industry standards, regulations, and best practices.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant scientific software.

• Excellent scientific and technical communication and presentation skills.

• Capability to adjust to diverse customer profiles and requirements.

• Ability to work autonomously and collaborate efficiently across teams.

• Strong commercial awareness and positive attitude.

• Effective organizational, prioritization, and time management abilities.

• Flexibility and eagerness to learn.

• Fluent in French and professionally proficient in written and spoken English.

• Valid driver’s license.

• Willingness to travel 50%–75% or more.

• Experience with dPCR technologies and their applications is advantageous.

• Background in technical training, customer support, or troubleshooting is a plus.

• Additional relevant certifications are a plus.
