This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the main scientific and technical solution expert, showcasing Cradle’s AI-driven protein discovery and optimization platform along with its services.
• Collaborate with Account Executives and Go-To-Market teams throughout the purchasing process.
• Keep up-to-date with Cradle’s technical capabilities and supporting evidence.
• Provide insights to product and technical teams to enhance demonstrations and offerings.
• Oversee and manage the scientific and technical exploration of customers’ landscapes, projects, capabilities, and challenges.
• Comprehend customers’ protein-engineering workflows and research goals.
• Create presentations and conduct demonstrations that address customer challenges while distinguishing Cradle from its competitors.
• Handle customer inquiries and objections, establishing credibility and trust in the process.
• Participate in relevant industry conferences, representing Cradle to scientific and technical audiences.
• Convey field insights to product teams and impact the product roadmap.
• Develop solutions, materials, and content for both customers and internal teams.
• Mentor and collaborate with fellow Scientific Solutions Consultants.
• Uphold and represent Cradle’s mission and values.
• A scientific academic qualification (MS, PhD) in biology or biochemistry, such as structural or molecular biology, bioinformatics, pharmaceutical sciences, biochemical engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of professional experience following graduation.
• Preferred experience in a solution consultant-type role and/or related customer-facing positions.
• Familiarity with scientific/informatics software such as LIMS or ELN is advantageous.
• Experience in demonstrating technical solutions to research and computational scientists is beneficial.
• Capability to quickly grasp wet-lab experimental workflows pertinent to enzyme and therapeutic protein design.
• Practical experience in designing and executing a variety of high-throughput wet-lab experimental workflows is a plus.
• Experience with computational protein design, potentially utilizing AI/ML techniques, is helpful.
• Strong foundation in life sciences research and development.
• Understanding of the experiences and tools of research scientists and computational biologists.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Willingness to travel 20–40%, including internationally.
• A valid passport is required.
