Scientific Relations Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Austria, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Oversee scientific collaborations between Kyowa Kirin and designated therapy area specialists and academics.

• Work alongside healthcare professionals to pinpoint opportunities that enhance clinical practices and improve patient outcomes.

• Maintain comprehensive scientific expertise in assigned Kyowa Kirin therapy areas and their complete datasets.

• Build and nurture relationships with selected national and international Key External Experts, including prominent academics.

• Address unsolicited inquiries from healthcare professionals utilizing expert knowledge.

• Educate the Patient Journey Manager team on current scientific developments, publications, therapy areas, and on-label products.

• Organize and partake in advisory boards and clinical investigator meetings.

• Develop medical materials such as literature reviews, medical letters, and presentation kits.

• Evaluate and sanction medical and promotional materials.

• Design and implement Medical Education initiatives in collaboration with the Patient Journey Manager role.

• Facilitate innovative medical activities through digital channels when suitable.

• Coordinate with Clinical Operations and HEOR regarding data generation activities, clinical development programs, and compassionate use initiatives.

• Attend selected international and local medical conferences.

⛳️ Requirements

• Expertise as per § 75 AMG.

• Completed master's degree in natural sciences or equivalent studies.

• Scientific background (education or prior experience).

• Experience in a field role within the pharmaceutical sector.

• Excellent proficiency in the local language.

• Good command of the English language.

• Digital experience/expertise, including Cx/Px strategy, omnichannel implementation, virtual engagement, email, webinars, and Zoom/Teams.

• Extensive understanding of local, regional, and national health systems and care delivery processes.
