This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Supervise all members of the school operations team.
• Develop and implement processes and procedures for the daily operations of a statewide online school.
• Oversee student records management, local and state testing, attendance and truancy tracking, as well as office and facilities management.
• Address and manage escalated needs for staff, students, and families regarding school procedures, technology systems, and materials.
• Act as a liaison between school team members and the broader Accel team to pinpoint operational needs and ensure alignment of school-level procedures with organizational objectives.
• Participate as a member of the school leadership team.
• Collaborate with school administrators to create, document, and electronically archive operational procedures and workflows.
• Conduct audits of procedures and identify opportunities for streamlining and enhancement.
• Monitor compliance with Department of Education and sponsor policies, compliance items, and state educational laws.
• Manage student information in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Coordinate communication with external vendors as required.
• Perform other assigned responsibilities.
• Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite applications.
• Strong skills in spreadsheets, including basic and intermediate formulas and functions.
• Previous experience in managing compliance with laws and regulations.
• Prior experience in creating and documenting procedures and workflows.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
• Reliable, dependable, and possess a trustworthy work ethic.
• Capability to manage difficult or emotional client situations effectively.
• Ability to make informed judgments after gathering relevant information.
• Mature attitude with insights into matters affecting the department, self, and/or company welfare.
• Proven leadership and management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, execute responsibilities, and consistently meet deadlines.
• Customer service-oriented mindset.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and acquire new skills through independent study and professional training.
• Ability to work independently as well as contribute to a team environment.
• Understanding and capability to manage confidential information appropriately.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Must pass federal and state criminal background checks.
