School Operations Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Cultivate and manage relationships with partner districts, state entities, and other educational stakeholders.

• Oversee the maintenance and organization of student records and data.

• Develop, implement, and document processes to ensure the accuracy and validity of student data in K12 and third-party databases.

• Serve as the primary contact and manage local, K12, state, and federal reporting requirements and issues.

• Collaborate with administrative staff to ensure compliance with all audit requirements for the school.

• Oversee the development of school policies, procedures, training standards, and curriculum improvements.

• Assist in the recruitment of students and the planning of school events.

• Manage communications regarding student enrollments, registrations, withdrawals, and end-of-year reclamation activities.

• Supervise and manage office personnel.

• Provide support for personnel-related issues.

• Assign daily tasks and monitor the progress of the Enrollment and Registration team towards their objectives.

• Conduct interviews, hire, and train new employees.

• Plan, delegate, and oversee work assignments.

• Evaluate employee performance, administer rewards and disciplinary actions, and address complaints and issues.


⛳️ Requirements

• Residency in Florida is required.

• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and seven (7) years of pertinent professional experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Capability to pass the mandatory background check.

• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

• Proficient in MS365 and adept with web-based tools.

• Strong technology skills are essential.

• Experience utilizing search engines (internet) for research tasks.

• Familiarity with using a student information system and/or other types of databases.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.

• Ability to work independently, typically requiring 40+ hours per week.

• Capacity to maintain a professional home office environment free from distractions during standard work hours, usually 9-5 (or 8-4) as defined by the school.
