This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.
• Lead and guide a manager responsible for the daily operations of the Scheduling Analyst team.
• Directly oversee, mentor, and nurture a group of scheduling analysts.
• Promote accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement through one-on-one sessions and team meetings.
• Develop tailored metrics for designated scheduling analysts.
• Serve as the escalation point and advisor for scheduling, timesheets, and Scheduling Analyst responsibilities.
• Participate in vendor meetings with healthcare organizations and relay meeting information to scheduling analysts.
• Act as a liaison between internal teams and outsourcing partners to ensure alignment of operational objectives and resolve scheduling conflicts.
• Manage and maintain scheduling tools effectively.
• Ensure the Locumsmart system is clean and accurate.
• Evaluate scheduling performance, identify trends, and propose process enhancements.
• Function as the final escalation point for scheduling-related issues, processes, and responsibilities.
• Collaborate with HCO and Vendor Account Managers, Education, Implementation, Client Success, and other cross-functional teams.
• Act as a subject matter expert on Locumsmart technology and scheduling tools.
• Own and advocate for the development backlog of Scheduling Analysis.
• Design and enhance workflow processes to improve operational efficiency and support business growth.
• Partner with Business Intelligence for reporting requests and performance indicators.
• Develop projections for departmental budgets, hiring strategies, and team KPIs.
• Demonstrated experience in scheduling, operations management, or a related field, ideally within a VMS or similar environment.
• Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to guide a team leader, manage a team, and cultivate a high-performance culture.
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to effectively manage relationships with outsourcing or third-party partners.
• Proficient in scheduling and workforce management tools and systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to multitask effectively across various technologies.
• College-level education or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 4 years of experience in healthcare staffing, VMS, or with a locum tenens vendor.
• Familiarity with Locumsmart Platform, Trello, Jira, Qgenda, ShiftAdmin, or AMION.
• Previous experience with other VMS platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
