SBA Business Valuation Professional – Fractional, Project-Based

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Prepare and finalize business valuations that support SBA 7(a) acquisition loans.

• Take ownership of valuation methodologies, analyses, conclusions, and the quality of reports.

• Review work prepared by analysts and provide clear guidance and constructive feedback.

• Engage directly with SBA lenders and their lending teams.

• Address inquiries from lenders and support the valuation process until closure.

• Ensure that all work complies with relevant SOP 50 10 engagement and independence standards.

• Consistently complete assignments within approximately 5 to 10 business days.

• Enhance valuation templates, workpapers, and quality control processes.

• Collaborate with internal analysts and the project management team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of an active CVA, ASA-BV, ABV, CBA, or BCA credential.

• Extensive hands-on experience with SBA 7(a) business valuations.

• Strong understanding of SBA lender engagement and independence regulations.

• Ability to independently manage methodology and authorize final reports.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with lenders.

• Capability to provide redacted sample valuation reports.

• References from SBA lenders or lending teams are required.

• Strongly preferred: Over 5 years of experience in business valuation.

• Strongly preferred: More than 100 completed SBA valuations.

• Strongly preferred: Experience in developing valuation templates, workpapers, or quality control processes.

• Comfortable working within an analyst-supported delivery framework.
