SAP Solutions Consultant, Accounting Experience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Serve as the leading functional subject matter expert for FloQast’s SAP integration strategy.

• Act as the subject matter expert for FloQast’s integration ecosystem, which includes APIs, connectors, SAP, SFTP, and SAML.

• Participate in late-stage sales opportunities to showcase SAP integrations and gain stakeholder approval.

• Collaborate with Sales to strategize next steps and ensure functional alignment with prospective accounting teams.

• Work alongside Product and Engineering teams on integration development projects.

• Convert FloQast’s tri-modal connectivity architecture into operational advantages for accounting users.

• Provide consultation on automating month-end close workflows, orchestrating SAP jobs, and executing T-codes.

• Align close processes with SAP data structures and assist in the ingestion of trial balances, GL transactions, subledgers, and custom tables.

• Maintain customer-facing integration materials and best-practice documentation.

• Respond to integration-related inquiries from the sales team regarding customer use cases.

• Deliver integrations and FloQast test environments for proof-of-concept demonstrations.

• Develop regular expressions for parsing file names and contents for ERP and financial data processing.

• Provide feedback to Product and Engineering regarding SAP integration deficiencies.

• Execute additional tasks to support the Solutions Consulting department, the company, and clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in Corporate Accounting, Financial Systems, Solutions Consulting, or Sales.

• Demonstrated success in engaging accounting audiences and achieving pre-sales goals.

• Extensive knowledge of SAP environments, including SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), Integration Suite entitlements, and the differences between SAP Public and Private Cloud deployment models.

• Profound understanding of corporate accounting workflows, challenges associated with month-end close, and financial reporting requirements.

• Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly SAP S/4HANA or ECC, including configuration, integration, or migration of ERP modules.

• Experience with cloud storage systems and managing them within a collaborative team environment.

• Knowledge of Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions and their administration in a team context.

• Ability to navigate SAP data dictionaries and standard SAP table structures, such as ACDOCA.

• Experience in implementing or supporting SAP API (OData/RESTful) and SFTP integration projects in financial or ERP contexts.

• Comfort in a fast-paced sales environment.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills for live meetings, Zoom calls, and email correspondence.

• Capacity to articulate complex SAP integration concepts in terms that are accessible to business stakeholders.

• Ability to thrive under tight deadlines and adapt to rapidly evolving demands.

• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.

• Preferred: experience in publishing and updating technical documentation.

• Preferred: familiarity with AI tools, particularly Claude.

• Preferred: experience with FloQast or similar financial close management software.
