SAP Program Manager – Manufacturing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Oversee pre-sales activities for manufacturing clients, including handling RFPs/RFIs, crafting proposals, and managing program financials.

• Define the delivery strategy and framework for S/4HANA transformations in manufacturing from proposal stage through program preparation.

• Lead mid-sized projects or co-lead large S/4HANA initiatives, which may involve multi-country and multi-plant implementations along with ECC-to-S/4HANA migrations.

• Assume overall responsibility for delivery planning, encompassing cost, timelines, quality, risk management, and change control.

• Establish and manage program governance along with the Program Office.

• Provide updates to Program Boards and Steering Committees.

• Support end-to-end process teams with an emphasis on Plan-to-Produce.

• Ensure production continuity during cutover and go-live phases.

• Work with senior client stakeholders, including C-level executives, and collaborate with internal, third-party, and contract resources across onsite, nearshore, and offshore teams.

• Mentor consultants and foster the development of high-performing teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Exceptional client and stakeholder management skills: establish trusted relationships with client leadership, influence at the C-level, and navigate complex organizations and ambiguity.

• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and vendor management abilities.

• Proven track record of delivering results on time, within budget, and to quality standards under tight deadlines and challenging conditions.

• Extensive consulting experience (10+ years) in client-facing roles, with demonstrated program leadership in large-scale SAP transformations.

• History of involvement in multiple full lifecycle SAP projects, including multi-country rollouts for ECC and S/4HANA, preferably in the Manufacturing sector (e.g., automotive, industrial, high-tech/semi-conductors).

• Proficient in at least two process areas: Plan-to-Produce, Order-to-Cash, Source-to-Pay, Record-to-Report; strong expertise in Plan-to-Produce is a significant advantage.

• Experience in leading multi-vendor teams using onsite, nearshore, and offshore delivery models.

• Solid understanding of SAP Activate (including Model Company and SAP Value Lifecycle Management) as well as Agile, value-driven delivery methodologies.

• Capability to prepare extensive proposals, present value-based propositions, and manage program financials effectively.

• Background in mentoring and coaching consultants.

• Proficient in English and Polish.

• Willingness to travel within Europe.
