This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Analyze NASA’s existing ECC Materials Management and G-Invoicing business processes during As-Is workshops.
• Engage in To-Be Design Workshops to validate and enhance future-state MM and G-Invoicing processes.
• Document differences, decisions, business impacts, and functional requirements.
• Assist in the development of the MM and G-Invoicing functional backlog, including MVP and BPR.
• Identify simplifications or remediations in SAP S/4HANA MM and Universal Journal.
• Perform Fit-Gap analysis for MM processes, which includes Purchasing, Goods Receipts, and Materials.
• Document functional gaps in alignment with the outputs from NCAPS workshops.
• Create or contribute to Functional Design Specifications for MM configuration changes, enhancements, interfaces, and reporting.
• Ensure that MM requirements are integrated with Controlling, Funds Management, Property Management, and Projects.
• Assist in identifying MM master and transactional data objects for migration.
• Collaborate with data teams on extraction rules, mapping logic, and transformation requirements for S/4 migration.
• Review and validate MM data profiling results, focusing on data quality, consistency, and missing fields.
• Confirm To-Be data standards and support the specifications for data mapping.
• Participate in mock conversion reviews to validate the migrated data.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an SAP Functional Analyst in Materials Management (MM).
• Practical configuration experience in ECC MM, including Purchasing, Goods Receipts, and Materials.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end MM Procure to Pay processes.
• Experience in participating in workshops, Fit-Gap sessions, and functional design activities.
• Familiarity with SAP data migration concepts, especially concerning Master Data and Transactional Data.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Ability to pass the NASA Public Trust background investigation.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems, or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Experience extending SAP standard functionality using ABAP Objects and other contemporary SAP technologies.
• Familiarity with G-Invoicing implementation and support.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Asset Accounting and the Universal Journal (ACDOCA).
• Awareness of S/4 Fiori applications for Materials Management.
• Experience in federal government or public sector SAP environments.
• Involvement in S/4 migration projects, including greenfield, brownfield, and SDT.
• SAP Certification is preferred.
